Bush admin shuts down Web site tracking U.S. economic data

Forbes has awarded EconomicIndicators.gov one of its “Best of the Web” awards for compiling data across govt agencies and making it publicly accessible. But as of March 1, the Bush admin has announced that it is shutting down this site due to "budgetary constraints."

Peyto Lake (pea-toe) is a glacier-fed lake located in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. During the summer, significant amounts of glacial rock flour flow into the lake, and these suspended rock particles give the lake a bright, turquoise color.

It's cold and dreary outside, but I'm loving it. I saw snow -- well, more like dingy slush -- for the first time in years last night. I stomped my feet in it like a 4-year-old.

I can't remember the last time I've been in single-digit temperatures.
